I did it …

This is just a quick follow up to my last post, where I said I was going to play tourist this weekend. It was a cold, miserable rainy day, but I did it. I played tourist for a few hours in my hometown, although I did more street photography than tourist photography.

I packed light, with my Fuji X-T1 and 2 lenses (but only used one), Fuji X100T and my new MeFoto Backpacker Tripod (which I didn’t use, but it fits in my shoulder bag and I thought I might head over to Rideau Falls, but didn’t).

Despite the miserable weather, it felt good to wander around Byward Market, Rideau Street and Confederation Square. I didn’t look for perfect shots, I just made shots of what I saw, and I came away with some photographs that I’m quite happy with.
